Tom Vollert is a wildlife photographer, naturalist, author, and teacher dedicated to sharing the beauty, wonder, and stories of the wildlife we share our world with.
A lifelong wildlife enthusiast, Tom’s fascination with nature began in childhood. Born in California and moving to Massachusetts as a toddler, he spent countless days as a young boy exploring the woods and waterways surrounding his suburban Boston home. With curiosity as his guide, Tom followed local wildlife, observing their behaviors and developing an appreciation for the natural world that would stay with him throughout his life.
Today, Tom combines his passion for wildlife with photography, writing, and teaching, inviting others to slow down, look closer, and discover the remarkable animals and natural places that exist all around us. Through his work, he strives not only to capture compelling images, but also to encourage a deeper understanding and appreciation of the wild creatures with whom we share our planet.
